Please join us on Tuesday, February 7, 2017 at 7 P.M. for “A Primer on Property Research,” presented by Timothy Smith and Andrew Dalton. This program will be held in the auditorium of Valentine Hall on the Lutheran Theological Seminary's campus.
This program will offer an introduction to the process of property research, with a heavy emphasis on the resources available at the Adams County Historical Society. Smith and Dalton will demonstrate how they have researched and written about countless properties in Adams County, as well as the methodology they have developed for completing these projects.
Timothy Smith is the head research assistant at the Adams County Historical Society, a Licensed Battlefield Guide, and the author of numerous books and articles about local history and the Battle of Gettysburg. Andrew Dalton, a volunteer at the Adams County Historical Society, is the author of a book and several articles about local history, and has assisted Timothy Smith with numerous projects, including a comprehensive study on the town of Fairfield.
