Come join the Adams County Historical Society and the Biglerville Historical & Preservation Society at this year’s co-sponsored evening in event. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 7, 2010 at 7:00 PM and will be held at the Biglerville Fire Hall located at 111 South Main Street in Biglerville. As with all the Society’s monthly meetings the event will be free and open to the public. Speakers from the Society will include our own director Emeritus Dr. Charles H. Glatfelter who will present “

and About When."  Timothy H. Smith will follow with, “Upper Adams in the Civil War." Harold Griffee of the Biglerville Historical & Preservation Society will also be part of the program. In the past at each community visited for this event crowds swelled to over 140 people. We look forward to a great turnout for this program.
