NOAHS Annual Membership Meeting & Invited Presentation

The Eleventh Annual NOAHS General Membership Meeting is scheduled for Thursday, March 21st, from 7:30 – 9:30 p.m., (doors open at 7:00 p.m.) at the United Hook and Ladder 33 Fire Hall, W. Golden Lane and N. Bolton Street, New Oxford.  Three items are on the evening's agenda: 
 
1) REVIEW OF THE YEAR AND ELECTIONS to the Board by members in good standing. Nominations from the floor will be accepted. PLEASE NOTE: You can renew your membership for the upcoming year at the meeting, if you have not already done so. 
 
2) REVIEW AND VOTE ON PROPOSED REVISIONS OF BYLAWS meant to simplify the operation of the Society. (Copy of the proposed Bylaws have been distributed to members and will be available at the meeting.)
 
3) INVITED PRESENTATION featuring Gettysburg long-time resident and passionate hiker, Edward Riggs. Ed will present "History of the Appalachian Trail & Experience of a Thru Hiker," the story of America's greatest hiking trail and his own accounts as a hiker of the trail. 
 
The event is free and open to the public.  Please come and bring your friends and family !!!!  We hope to see you there !
