The staff of the Gettysburg Seminary Ridge Museum will be providing light refreshments and opening the museum galleries for visitors from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm on Tuesday, October 3rd, free of charge. If you have not visited the museum recently and seen the changing gallery, the current exhibit “Crossroads Town: Gettysburg 1785-1863” was mounted in association with the Adams County Historical Society. It features the earliest known map of Gettysburg and other rare items from the Society's object collection. The museum galleries also are filled with objects from the Adams County Historical Society.
We hope that you will come out to join us and stay for our lecture which is being held in the auditorium of Valentine Hall at 7 pm.
