Join the New Oxford Area Historical Society on May 24 at 7:30 pm for their regular membership meeting.
Adams County resident Ms. Donna King of York Springs will present a photographic tour of 24 historic bridges across Adams County. First published in the Gettysburg Times in 1952, the program will celebrate the beauty and history of Adams County's covered bridges. Ms. King is a member of Ye Olde Sulphur Spa Historical Society in York Springs and a volunteer there. The program is open to all and free of charge. We hope to see you there!

Does the Adams County Historical Society have a museum?
The Society's 3-D object collection is currently inaccessible. The collection is stored off-site while the Society is headquartered at the Wolf House. It is unknown how long it will be before the collections will once again be available for public viewing. However, portions of the Society's collections are on display at the Gettysburg Heritage Center and Gettysburg Seminary Ridge Museum.
