The Society’s reference book collection can assist your search for local ancestors, the family home, or comprehensive local history. Use the reference collection to start your research or to find that rare passage from an early publication. These books are accessible to researchers and a helpful tool when investigating Adams County genealogy.
Does the Adams County Historical Society have a museum?
The Society's 3-D object collection is currently inaccessible. The collection is stored off-site while the Society is headquartered at the Wolf House. It is unknown how long it will be before the collections will once again be available for public viewing. However, portions of the Society's collections are on display at the Gettysburg Heritage Center and Gettysburg Seminary Ridge Museum.
