The Gettysburg battlefield holds the largest number of outdoor statuaries in the country, and possibly, the world. Join LBG Sue Boardman, and discover the when, who and why of the monumentation at Gettysburg National Military Park, along with some interesting stories behind the inspiration for these unique memorials. The veterans wanted their service to be remembered – the monuments are their legacy. At the end of this tour, the visitor will understand how to read and understand the message of the monuments along the length of Hancock Avenues. This program will be on Saturday, September 10, 2022 from 2:00pm - 4:00pm. Please park in the overflow parking lot off of Hunt Avenue, and meet the guide at the Meade Equestrian Monument.

Tickets are $15 for Members, and $25 for Non-Members.

Any individual who financially qualifies, based upon level of income, may be granted free admission to the museum. The determination will be made by museum staff based upon that individual’s application for free admission.
