Docent
Docents assist the staff in developing and presenting short programs to groups of visitors, especially students. They also act as interpreters inside the museum, helping to enhance the visitor experience with their historical knowledge.

Front Desk Assistant
Front Desk Assistants serve a critical role for ACHS - welcoming and assisting visitors and members of the community. These volunteers will report directly to the Museum Manager and may be stationed at the front desk, inside the gift shop, or at the café.

Research Assistant
Research Assistants are responsible for staffing the Glatfelter Research Room. You will become skilled in topics such as genealogical, land, military, and county history research. This is a great opportunity to work with our wonderful volunteer research team and help visitors see the collection and make important discoveries!

Collections Assistant
Collections Assistants work on a variety of archives-related projects. This opportunity will allow you to become familiar with PastPerfect, the industry standard database for museums and archives. You will have hands-on experience working with original items, and tasks include organizing, re-housing materials, cataloging, and creating finding aids.
