670 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg, PA 17325

Jointly Presented by the 4-H Clubs of Adams County and the Adams County Historical Society
Please join us on Tuesday, October 1st, from 6:00 – 8:00 PM for this special joint monthly program of the Adams County Historical Society and the 4-H Clubs of Adams County, "4-H in Adams County: Those Days to These Days." The program will feature Ms. Darlene Resh, 4-H Youth Development Educator and a host of Adams County’s 4-H Youth and Alumni.

Adams County 4-H started in the 1920s and was, at that time, all about breeding pigs and clothing clubs, along with starting a beef club. Today, 4-H is an integral part of the fabric of our county and is a cornerstone of the Adams County agricultural heritage and economy.

The evening’s program will celebrate the role of 4-H in Adams County and will focus on the people, traditions, programs and stories of 4-H in our county. This special early evening program will offer a range of displays, scrapbooks, vignettes of 4-H clubs, and pieces of 4-H history for people to enjoy on arrival, followed by a brief presentation on the history of 4-H and a panel of 4-H leaders, youth members and alumni. Light refreshments will also be available to attendees, courtesy of the 4-H and its members.

Please join us for this fascinating joint program. The program will take place at the Adams County Agricultural & Natural Resources Center, located at 670 Old Harrisburg Road, Gettysburg. Free and abundant parking is available on-site. The program is free and open to the public, thanks to generous support from ACNB Bank. We hope to see you there!
